The regular monthly meeting of the Middletown Housing Authority is held the second Monday of each month. (In case of a holiday, the meeting is held on the second Tuesday of that month). The meeting is held at 5:00 pm at the Senior Center Meeting Room, 150 William Street, Middletown, Connecticut.

The Housing Authority of the City of Middletown will be opening its waiting list for the Section 8 Voucher Program, which will subsidize decent, safe and sanitary housing for persons whose incomes fall at or below the very low income category as follows, by number of persons in a houshold.

Applicants must be determined eligible and qualified in accordance with the rules and regulations of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Middletown Housing Authority. The authority utilizes a local preference for Middletown residents.

Pre-applications are available at the Middltown Housing Authority or by utilizing the facsimile below. Applicants may also mail-in the same information on a blank sheet of paper. Only one pre-application per family; any family submitting more than one pre-application will be disqualified. ONLY ONE PRE APPLICATION PER ENVELOPE. The pre-application must be completed with all information and must be written in a legible fashion. Any pre-application that is not legible will be disqualified.
ONLY PRE-APPLICATIONS POST MARKED BETWEEN FEBRUARY 21, 2012 AND FEBRUARY 23, 2012 AND RECEIVED BY MARCH 2, 2012 WILL BE ACCEPTED. 1400 PRE-APPLICATIONS WILL BE DRAWN AT RANDOM ON MARCH 21, 2012. The Housing Authority of the City of Middletown has extended their acceptance of Section 8 pre-applications post marked through March 2, 2012 and received by March 9, 2012. Only those selected in the Lottery held on April 11, 2012 will be mailed an application.
